The Solutions Specialist will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the implementation and adoption of this enterprise-level warehousing software. Your expertise in warehousing processes and Warehouse Management Systems will enable you to proficiently assess client needs, design tailored solutions, and provide comprehensive training and support. Experience with Softeon WMS or similar WMS preferred.

Travel may be necessary, and the candidate must be available to travel on special occasions as per the needs of the project and the team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes current and future state business systems processes, understand customer’s specific warehousing challenges and objectives
• Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and potential solutions
• Document changes to WMS configurations and processes
• Writes test scenarios, and performs system testing and lead user acceptance testing cycles
• Ensures the systems meet the needs of the business through user acceptance testing
• Design and develop customized implementations of WMS, aligning with the client's specific needs and processes
• Create, deliver and own comprehensive training materials, including, but not limited to user manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules
• Provide ongoing support to users, addressing their questions, resolving issues, and ensuring continuous adoption
• Provides day-to-day application support to business users, including communicating with users to develop application definitions
• Trains users on system processes and changes
• Stay up-to-date on the latest WMS features and functionality
• Manage the implementation timeline and budget, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Works with users and co-workers to manage a project from concept through testing and rollout
• Participates in project and administrative meetings and prepares project status reports
• Communicate with both internal and external customers regarding status of projects 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the warehousing industry, preferably with a focus on project management or solutions consulting
• Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain solutions and in particular, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – (Softeon preferred),with a strong understanding of warehousing processes, implementations, configurations and training
• Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly, verbally and in writing (e.g. design / test documentation)
• Ability to work under pressure with time restraints, direction and guidance to complete tasks on a timely manner; as apart of a team or independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interact with customers
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred
• Fluency in English 

Must Have Skills          

• Expertise with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (or a similar diagramming and vector graphic application like Synthis, Lucid Charts, etc.)
• Good understanding of configurations and options available in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Ability to understand basic warehouse operations and document them using easy to follow process flow diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or Training Materials for end users
• Basic understanding of SQL; Ability to write simple SQL commands is desirable
