Takeaways from Promat 2023

It’s already a week ago but we’re still feeling inspired by ProMat. The sheer size of the event was impressive. With over 50,000 attendees and over 1,000 exhibitors, Ankit Agarwal, Scott Ehlke and Juwon Obadina walked over 6 miles just on Day 1! According to event organizers, it was the biggest supply chain event in its history.

For us, one of the most significant benefits of attending ProMat, was the networking opportunity. We were able to meet and connect with so many companies, spend valuable time with existing partners and industry friends, all while exploring new partnerships.

In addition, attending ProMat 2023 allowed us to evaluate how the industry is evolving. We were particularly impressed with advancements in material handling automation. Companies that stood out were Apple Logistics and EVS WM due to their impressive focus on deployment, location services, LIDAR and image recognition.
